ENGLAND'S WAGs were out in full force once again but - like most Three Lions fans - looked to be struggling to keep their attention on the football.

Gareth Southgate's side were beaten 2-0 by Belgium in the World Cup third-place play-off.

Harry Maguire's girlfriend Fern Hawkins and Rebekah Vardy, wife of Jamie, were spotted in the crowd at the Krestovsky Stadium.

But Thomas Meunier and Eden Hazard scored for Belgium to beat England for the second time in Russia and earn the Red Devils the bronze medal.

And the defeat has left a sour taste for the Three Lions, who looked depleted and spent of emotion upon the final whistle.

Gareth Southgate was among those that bore the pain of another defeat on his face, coming days after England's hopes of winning a second World Cup were ended by Croatia.

If there is one positive aspect to the match, it would be Romelu Lukaku's failure to find the net.

Harry Kane currently sits top on six goals in the race for the World Cup Golden Boot.

The Manchester United and Belgium striker was his nearest rival on four.

Meanwhile, France duo Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe would need at least a hat-trick in the final against Croatia on Sunday to overcome the England ace.
