Belgium World Cup squad leaked after mattress blunder?

It would appear that Belgium's 23-man squad for the World Cup might have been leaked several days ahead of time thanks to bizarre gaffe involving mattresses.
Having named his provisional 28-man squad last week, Roberto Martinez wasn't due to announce his final cut until next Monday, after the Red Devils' friendly against Portugal at the weekend.
However, while covering the team's preparations for the tournament, broadcasters VRT may have inadvertently let the cat out of the bag.
The piece showed footage of a pile of mattresses in a warehouse waiting to be shipped out to Belgium's team hotel in Russia.
Each of the 23 mattresses shown carried a label of the individual player it was assigned to, leading eagle-eyed viewers to ascertain that the five players not included may have already been cut from the squad.< p>As such, it would seem that goalkeeper Matz Sels, defenders Christian Kabasele, and Jordan Lukaku, midfielder Leander Dendoncker and winger Adnan Januzaj are the unlucky group to miss out.
The story so dominated headlines in Belgium that Martinez needed to refute the mattresses' accuracy, saying on the team's Twitter account: "The story of the mattresses is not true. Nobody sent a list to anyone."
Obviously, time will tell who is telling the truth -- but it still must surely go down as a king-size blunder!Source: Google News Belgium | Netizen 24 Belgium
